The Orpheum Theater is located within walking distance of the Radisson Hotel. It will be presenting the Broadway musical and winner of nine Tony Awards, A Chorus Line.

Located in downtown Minneapolis along the Mississippi River, the Guthrie Theater houses three stages, one restaurant, two bars, and a cafe. Guthrie performances will include The Intelligent Homosexual, a play by Tony Kushner, the Emmy- , Tony-, and Pulitzer-Prize-winning playwright of Angels in America.

Minneapolis is also home to the Walker Art Center, one of the nation’s best modern-art museums. In addition to being adjacent to its well-known sculpture garden, the Walker also houses two Wolfgang Puck restaurants: the 20.21 Restaurant and Bar featuring Asian-influenced Californian cuisine and the more casual Gallery 8 Cafe.

The Minneapolis Institute of Arts is located a short drive (or long walk) from downtown Minneapolis. The MIA’s fine-arts collection boasts an especially strong collection of Asian art.

The Minnesota Orchestra is located within easy walking distance of the Radisson Hotel. On Saturday the 20th, there will be a Symphony Ball.

The Metrodome Stadium is located in downtown Minneapolis. Over the BGA weekend, the Minnesota Twins baseball team will be playing Houston.
