Requesting a course web site

This year we are going to try something different. The University has come up with another option besides WebCT for course web pages. It is Moodle. For those of you who haven't heard about it or used it, is a very good option and very easy to use.

We would like you to give Moodle a try this year over the regular department web site, for a few reasons.

1: you don't need to re-learn how to use Dreamweaver every semester
2: you can up-date your site from any computer that has the internet.
3: It is very easy to use for you and your students
4: University provides full technology support both to Moodle users.
5: You can use Moodle as just a basic site or also to collaborative types of activities, that include lots of discussions, peer-evaluation, and group building of learning artifacts.
6: Plus many more reasons.........

When requesting a course web site there is 3 different options available. Please check out Moodle or WebVista, before requesting a psych basic web site. If you need help deciding what what option is best for you, please contact Esther in N108 Elliott, (stee0152@umn.edu) or (612-625-0644).
