Application Checklist
The application deadline is December 1. Please use this form as a checklist to ensure that you have obtained, distributed, and returned all the necessary application materials for graduate study in psychology at the University of Minnesota. The Psychology Graduate Admissions Office will work with you throughout the application process to ensure the timely processing and review of your application.

Department of Psychology Application The following materials should be mailed to the Psychology Graduate Admissions Office, University of Minnesota, S253 Elliott Hall, 75 East River Road, Minneapolis, MN 55455. |

Personal Statement |

Letters of Recommendation. Three letters are required. The letters should be placed in separate, sealed envelopes, signed across the flap and sent with your departmental application materials. |

GRE General Test and GRE Subject Test in Psychology Scores. Include a photocopy of your score report with your departmental application materials. Arrange to have ETS send an official score report. |

TOEFL Internet-based Test (iBT) Score Report (for non-native speakers of English). Include a photocopy of your score report with your departmental application materials. Submit the offical score report to the Graduate School Office of Admissions. |

Transcripts. Submit one transcript from each college/university attended (may be a student copy or photocopy). |

Graduate School Application The following materials should be sent to the Graduate School Office of Admissions, University of Minnesota, 309 Johnston Hall, 101 Pleasant Street S.E., Minneapolis, MN 55455. |
Graduate School Application (must be completed online) and application fee. The applicant statements are optional. |

Transcripts. One transcript from each college/university attended. Follow the Graduate School instructions for sending your transcripts. |
Note. Failure to return the application materials to the appropriate office may cause a delay in the processing of your application. Do not assume that your application file is complete until you receive notification by e-mail from the Department of Psychology. If you do not receive notification, contact the Psychology Graduate Admissions Office at the above address, call 612/624-4181 or e-mail prahl001@umn.edu. Remember, your application will not be reviewed until all required materials have been received by the Department of Psychology and the Graduate School.
