Statement of Interests
Robert F. Krueger, Ph.D., is Professor of Clinical Psychology, and Personality, Individual Differences, and Behavior Genetics in the Department of Psychology. He received a Theodore Millon Mid-Career Award from the American Psychological Foundation, an American Psychological Association Distinguished Scientific Award for Early Career Contribution to Psychology, an Early Career Award from the International Society for the Study of Individual Differences, and the McKnight Land-Grant and McKnight Presidential Fellowship awards from the University of Minnesota. Dr. Krueger obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin at Madison, and completed his clinical internship at Brown University. He is currently an Associate Editor of the Journal of Abnormal Psychology, and has served as an Associate Editor of the Journal of Personality, as well as on the editorial boards of a variety of other journals. His research interests span personality, psychopathology, personality disorders, behavior genetics, and quantitative methods, and he has a particular interest in working toward a comprehensive, empirically-based model of personality and psychopathology. He served as a Core Working Group Member of the American Psychiatric Association/National Institute of Mental Health DSM Research Planning Conferences on Personality Disorders and Dimensions, and is a member of the Personality and Personality Disorders Workgroup for DSM-V.
