Sentience is an online academic journal for papers on research and theory in Psychology that are written by undergraduate students at the University of Minnesota. Sentience is published twice annually, in May and December.
Sentience accepts manuscripts from students on the Twin Cities, Duluth, and Morris campuses. Sentience currently accepts Editorial Board applications only from students on the Twin Cities campus.
Sentience provides opportunities for undergraduate students to gain first-hand experience in all phases of the scientific publication process. Published work is limited to papers written by undergraduate students (as first author). An Editorial Board consisting of undergraduate students peer-reviews all submissions to determine suitability for publication. Submitted manuscripts will undergo the sequence of peer review and revision that is typical of most refereed scientific journals.
If you are an undergraduate student who is looking for experience that will make you more competitive as a graduate-school applicant or job candidate, Sentience is a valuable resource for you!
We are now accepting manuscript submissions for
the May, 2013 issue!
