The Honors program in the Department of Psychology provides high performing students with a more rigorous undergraduate experience than is typically experienced. Students who have been accepted into the University Honors Program (UHP) are eligible to receive an Honors Psychology degree.
Honors Psychology students gain a breadth of knowledge across the discipline and a strong foundation in psychological statistics and research methodology, as well as psychological research laboratory experience. In addition, Honors students may choose to earn credit toward the major through study abroad, internship, and community engagement experiences.
