VPR has been part of the Work Adjustment Project in the Department of Psychology at the University of Minnesota since 1970. VPR supports, maintains, and distributes the instruments and materials developed to operationalize, test, and apply the Theory of Work Adjustment.

The instruments and materials distributed by VPR have been designed to assess work personalities and work environments. They have a long history of providing vocationally useful information, and are updated periodically to reflect changes in the available technology and the world of work.

Assessment instruments, manuals, supporting materials, scoring services, research monographs, research bibliographies, and technical support are available from VPR.

Income derived from the distribution and scoring of the

Minnesota Importance Questionnaire(MIQ)

Minnesota Job Description Questionnaire(MJDQ)

is dedicated to research and development in vocational psychology through the Vocational Psychology Research fund of the University of Minnesota.
